If I could do anything I wanted,
Spend each day as I pleased,
I think I'd:
Wake to each day with a smile
And make the day stretch like a mile.
I would not waste the next 24 hours
But learn how to make it yours, mine and ours.

For you I'd give that helping hand
Or a word or two to say "I understand".
For me I'd fill my mind, body and soul
To keep all of me rich and whole.

For us, I'd do one good measure
To show the world of our treasure.
These things I'd do and a whole lot more,
If I could control what the day had in store
