I miss you, Mom.
It's been two years, seems like yesterday.
I held your hand, felt it go cold.
And thought of the words I didn't say.
You taught me right from wrong.
I know you meant well for me,
Even though your efforts were revoked.
Thank you, Mom.
You taught me appreciation.
I know how to care for the simple things
Life happens to bring.
Thank you, Mom.
You always wanted to put me first.
You stood when I sat. You carried the
load when it was heavy.
I miss you, Mom.
More than you'll ever know.
I love you, Mom. Words I never said.
