'Round and 'round
Through the year and beyond
Came shining through my other self,
That was sitting up on the shelf.
Started at the Theatre Limelight,
Soon found myself out on a pub night.
Oh my gosh, Oh my golly,
The trip to Montreal sure was jolly!
But, I never really met this guy named Bill…
Oh, now, wait! A planning meeting…
He'll be there, I know he will!
To chat and talk and send us greeting.
Buttons labelled to identify us all,
Gee, there's lots of us in this hall.
Now, when my Mom phones she's apt to say,
"Will we get to see you some day"?
I stammer and I stutter,
And then I utter:
"Maybe. Between one event and another,
I'll drop by to see you and my brother".
Along the Missinaibi River I did go,
A week's vacation break in North Ontario.
Once back at Union Station I was heard to declare:
"Can I get to the 'Guild', way over there"?"
Pub crawling, wining, dining and more,
I've got a lot to be thankful for.
Throughout this group called the Connection,
The word FANTASTIC oft is mentioned!
A radio DJ gave me the key,
To help me discover the most I can be.
Thank you Bill Robinson – Kathy Price too!
(And 1,001 "Connection-ites" – (including Rocky).
